Lifted aromas of lemon zest, gooseberry, orange blossom with vanillan oak. Crisp and grassy, with grapefruit, mandarin finishing with a crunchy acidity and a clean oak finish.
The creamy texture of aged Semillon pairs perfectly with a rich mushroom risotto.
Winemaking
The fruit was machine harvested in the cool of the morning and immediately delivered to the winery, where it was gently pressed. The free-run portion was transferred directly into a mixture of new and older French oak puncheons and barriques, as well as stainless steel, for alcoholic fermentation. Regular bâttonage during maturation integrated the oak and added texture and flavour to the wine. Prior to bottling, the wine was blended and gently fined
Vintage
The weather during the 2025 growing season was ideal, with warm days and cool nights. These conditions resulted in low disease pressure and good yields, producing varietally expressive fruit. A classic Margaret River vintage
